Hide and seek

with an American toad per naturalist daughter's  ID. I was watering the vegetable garden when I inadvertently tried to drown him. As soon as he hopped into view we changed the spray to another area and I ran for the camera. I'm pleased to find one since it has been 2 yrs since I saw the last one in the garden. This one was hiding under the zucchini plants.
