All tacked up with the new TCS - what little there is of it ! Did a lot of walk and stand ( pause ) and turns using my head position , looking and upper body movement. We were definitely both understanding each other very clearly , except I was using a field with just too much grass and Daisy was just too hungry , I had a headless horse every time we stopped ! so moved into the woods. Lots of shortening of stirrups required , Rising trot feels quite weird and I’m having to get used to sitting more forward , my toe occasionally was touching her front leg, which reminds me of the position of the old fashioned hunters in paintings going over huge ditches and jumps ! Lots of riding required to get into the feel of it , good thing I’m very happy to be doing it .
