We are out!!!

Slept ok, bin men woke us up.....once we were and downstairs for breakfast it was soon apparent that my back was no better, painkillers before walking the short distance for a newspaper :-/

Taken it really easy today..... spent time in the summerhouse, hub power washed the new patio to get rid of the dark sticky sap that our maple tree has deposited... looks much better now! I had the lovely job of cleaning out the garden waste bin, it absolutely stank!! Silage like :-0 that is also much better now. Did a bit of sweeping up but my aches were giving me some gip!!

At 5 I went off to get myself ready as we were off out for the first time since lockdown. Forgotten what it feels like to get ‘dolled up’ and how long it takes ;-)

We left just after 6 and walked down town, as we had a reservation at our local little french bistro for 6.30. I was very slow walking which made us 5 mins late.

We had a lovely bottle of red with our starters and main course. Hub had a dessert, I had a spoon so could have a couple of mouthfuls ;-)
Then we finished off with a coffee and a walk home, helped to let the good digest.....I was so full, definitely out of practise, with this eating out lark ;-)

We are now sprawled in front of the tv back home..... just ready to catch up on Match of the Day:-)
