Sweet Pea Season

It was another day of waiting for the sun to break through. Well, not just waiting - a busy day, of course! But when it did grow sunny we decided to visit Easton Walled Garden during their Sweet Pea season. We weren't disappointed. (Never are there - it's a wonderful garden!) Took a zillion photos and haven't finished sorting them, but thought it was time I chose one to blip, so here it is. This sweet pea is called Linda Carole. The Extra is a variety called Frances Kate. There was such a range of colours, and nearly all of them with strong scents.

Little Miss B felt their petals very, very gently and smiled when invited to smell them. It's so good to be out and about in the fresh air and feeling a little normality.
