Sculls and sorrows

My rowing boat. Sculls have been stolen during last week, so today I decided to buy new ones. And I also did. Hubby helped me with the rowlocks.

My step-mom had some kind of a stroke today. A leak in her brain stem made her unconscious during her visit in amusement park with her grandchild. My step-mom was taken into hospital by emergency paramedics and we did take care of her grandchild and two poodles, until her children could take over. The situation is still serious, but she is awake now. .

A quiet evening. Sorrow is near around, as our toughts are in hospital. It is a matter of time, if she will recover or not. No treatments or surgery is possible to make. The leak is in bad position.

Good to have a boat and functional sculls now, I might go to the lake in near future. Often as I go rowing, all of the sorrows will stay on the shore. Normally. This time I am not sure though.
