OS Explorer maps usually feature photos on the front that highlight the scenic highlight of the area on the map. It’s therefore a worry that the map containing our plan B holiday cottage features a very dreich, dirty and remote track! In fact the whole map contains total wilderness apart from one tiny minor road cum estate track. Hmmm, there may be a reason why this ‘get away from it all’ cottage was still available!
