The Birds and the Butterfly

Maureen and Ian came visiting this afternoon.   The weather was kind and we were able to sit in the garden drinking tea and chatting.

This morning I had taken a look round the garden with my camera.  I chased a butterfly for a while, a gatekeeper I think, it's in the extras.

As M&I  were leaving the starlings descended on the feeder.  I brought the camera out again and took a few shots of the excitable youngsters
