Eighteen For The Sixteenth
Abstract Thursday. Colourful. Ingeborg.
Mixed bag of azulejos (tiles), from buildings.
These are all within a five minute walk. But the leisurely stroll and composing was about an hour. Collage set-up took the most time, mostly straightening up and fine tuning.
There are so many variations in town, and Portugal, that you rarely see a pattern repeated on another building. So I could do this for a month of azulejos days, though it will not be the plan. There is a theft and destruction concern, but more-so in Lisbon and Porto than anywhere else. And they really don't just come off so easily.
Thank you Ingeborg for continuing the challenge.
