Rich and Vibrant....

We have had a cold, bleak, cloudy day. More of the same is predicted for the next few days. Give me a hard frost with following sunshine anytime. Despite the heat pump and wood stove I still felt the cold. I was warmer out walking before dawn. It is winter after all and time to layer up more..., so out came the cosy Merino long johns.... so comfy and warm. Merino wool clothing cannot be beaten!
This luscious Winter Rose (Hellebore) is flowering in our garden. I love its rich burgundy coloring. A real treat for the eyes.
