Skinny Eric

Actually this is Lucien but Skinny Eric is the name of his shop. Called in today to check progress on the build-up project of my new (old) bike. Its all done but the wheels wont be delivered until 28 Feb. To those of you who dont know anything about cycling, wheels are fairly fundamental to the process.

So it remains a work in progress. But I am happy to wait and it's always good to have an excuse to pop in to this brilliant shop in Hackney Wick for a coffee and stare at the array of vintage bikes. It is a rich seam to mine for Blip opportunties.

I wanted to retake the shot because of the light flare behind his head. Btu Lucien said he is happy with this version because it shows off his halo to good effect.
