Waverley Station

My travels today took me to Edinburgh, and as I walked through the station I was struck by the improvements brought about by the work being done on the roof.

Waverley Station has over 34,000m2 of roof - and it is all being replaced in a multi-year upgrade being done by Network Rail. Where previously there was only a vaguely brighter area above the concourse lighting, now there is bright, clear glass - and through the glass, the Balmoral Hotel.
