Last day - for some

A strange end of year feeling is starting to take hold with planning for training, results days and September all beginning to come together. We’re also starting to have ‘last days’ for students with four of our key worker children, who have been with us virtually every week since 23rd March, finishing for the Summer today. They left us with cards, chocolates and flowers. Weirdly, it’s been lovely to spend this time with them in amongst all the strangeness.

New staff induction today, my last Y12 lesson taught and various jobs done. Home via the supermarket and then Bailey and I headed out for a walk with the bestest friend. Head-clearing and a good catch up was what was needed.
