The Dales

My parents visiting the area for a walking holiday was the perfect excuse to head out to the Dales with C today. We enjoyed a peaceful 5mile walk, picnicking by the river, then takeout tea & cake and icecream in Grassington after. 

I was listening to a podcast last week with Claudia Hammond who explained that time  in lockdown appears to have gone fast due to the lack of memories we made. I would never have though of it like that but it makes sense now & these last 2 busy days of doing lots of things have felt much longer than my usual work free Tuesday/Wednesday!
