You're Beautiful. That's for Sure

So after my boasting last night; i failed miserably.

I woke up and looked out the window. Shouted to Tooli "It's raining". and She positively Cheered with joy, and said, "shame"  and promptly went back to sleep.

As did i.

I eventually rose (when I say eventually  I mean 7.30 as opposed to 6.50)   I started work at 8.30 and i worked through til 4. and then I shouted Tooli... Oi You Come on.

So we went, and we went a different direction today; not to the beach but up , and into the Country....

We are so lucky - 500 yards to the beach, 500 yards to cows.  We had to cross a main road - but it was okay - because there were road works so we only had to negotiate one way...

It had been years since I went that path. Tooli used to run it - a few years ago she ran and didn't want to run where other people were.... so ran there, and I used to follow her because it's not somewhere you want kids to run alone... . There's no one there, but it;s the sort of place that if someone saw you running there; they would know you were on your own.

But we saw rabbits, horses, wild flowers, birdies.  It was lovely.

Tooli's heart wasn't in it.  I lent her the bike for a while, and I walked and she cycled; and then I gave her a backie - and another lady cyclist nearly fell off her bike laughing.

This is my sweet corn.  It's as tall as me now -which isn't that tall, but by next week, it'll be 6 ft.
