If You Go Down to the Woods Today...

Spending the night at my brother-in-law and wife's. They live a field away from the M1 at Newport Pagnell, and the surprise is that it's so rural. Just went for a walk through the woods right next to their house, on a bridge over the M1, and then under the M1 further on, next to the River Ouse, where we twice saw a large fox. Then a bank of swans grazing in a field, and more swans, plus ducks and geese in some disused gravel quarries.

And the sun glorifying it all - just beautiful.
