Bouquet of .....

...... Lilies.
These came from my eldest daughter yesterday , a perceptive gift as she knew I wasn't 100% . So this morning I put my best foot forward and got on with a project I'd set myself . It was heavy work not having done any digging for a couple of years , but I was determined to do it ,redundant grasses ( that grow like weeds) had to be removed to make space for another project at the weekend , weather permitting. I had to pull, tug and dig but I've removed most of them the rest will have to wait until tomorrow .
I ran the vacuum round listened to midday prayers then prepared a snack lunch ready for my bestie to come after we had listened to some music , we went to the garden centre where I purchased new bird feeders and seeds and fat balls , by the time C had finished her shopping, the coffee shop was closing so she went home and so did I. Phew, that days over I'm exhorted just thinking how much I've done but a really satisfying day .
