St Stephen's Church (Forest Chapel)

St Stephen's is more commonly known as Forest Chapel and is the church for the combined parish of Macclesfield Forest, Wildboarclough and Rainow. It dates from 1673 and is incredibly isolated. 

It was the meeting point for today's geocaching walk but the weather was so awful that we were soaked after a couple of hours and decided to abandon the expedition. I managed to grab this photo with my iPhone before a very soggy drive home.
