The Lozarithm Lens

Berhills Farm (Tuesday 14th July 2020)

While work progressed on the rendering I took off on my regular government approved exercise for an hour in the afternoon, crossing Berhill's Farm, passing a herd of bullocks and seeing a pair of herons, down to the bridge across the Marden, and back past Keevil's Weir, through Castlefields Park into the town centre via the Wharf, where the lone swan was self-grooming (see Extra) and back through the Town Gardens.
These thistles and teasels were at Keevil's Weir.
With thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting Wild Flower Week.

So much sharper resolution in Large (Gallery) view - the focus is on the thistles but it doesn't appear so unless viewed full-frame.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Otis Rush - All Your Love (I Miss Loving) (recorded 1958, Cobra Studios, Chicago IL, for Cobra)
Otis Rush (vcl, gtr) and His Band: Ike Turner (2nd gtr), Little Brother Montgomery (pno), Jackie Brenston and Harold Ashby (sax), Willie Dixon (bass), Billy Gayles (dr)
The cover CD for Mojo May 2013, played today, was Blues Breakers! - 15 Classic Tracks As Covered By Eric Clapton, and this opening track featured on the 1966 album Bluesbreakers With Eric Clapton, by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. It followed Willie Dixon's original arrangement quite closely. Otis Rush adapted the original version from an instrumental by the guitarist Jody Williams called Lucky Lou, from 1957.
