Feathery

A warm but mainly cloudy day and I took the opportunity of the cooler temperatures to do some weeding on the allotment.  I think a little weeding each day is required for some time they seem to have grown like mad recently.  I was back in time for a relaxed yoga class and then headed off to pick up the weeks click and collect food order.  The system has changed recently and your order is brought out to your car which makes it even easier.

Todays blip is of a young female pheasant that enjoys browsing around our garden.  Today the cows were in the field behind us and you could see her watching them curiously.  At one point she flew into the field with them.  She later returned to our garden and hid amongst the plants while my husband was weeding.  Once he had finished she wandered around again and came right up to our French windows.  These shots were taken through the glass while she was preening herself.
