Raising a glass to Richard

This morning it was our friends funeral in Nottingham. Obviously only a restricted number of family and friends could be present, so Nola, his wife, asked all those of us who could not attend, to raise a glass to celebrate Richards life this evening, but not until after 6pm, as that was his rule! So here we are, with a bottle of Sangre de Torro, which is the red wine that Richard introduced us to in Tenerife when we first met.

Earlier today we walked into town, albeit very slowly....boy was I in pain :-/ We ended up calling in Reds so I could sit down! This obviously led to coffee and lunch ;-) Took some painkillers, once they kicked in it made the walk back much easier.

Spent an hour this afternoon reminding myself how to set the timer on my camera for todays blip.....set my tripod up on the patio and we stood inside the summerhouse. Glad we did, its been another chilly breezy day :-/

Hubs team got one over on my team last night, much to his delight......they probably deserved the draw to be honest. This evening will be taken up with tv, really enjoying the aussie drama, secrets she keeps.

Must do some more stretches in a mo!!
