South West Trains poster

I happened to walk via the station to the local paper shop and saw this poster for the first time as have not been near a station since March. Someone has amusingly made an addition of the teeth. I noticed all the Metros from the usual pile had gone but I noticed several people coming to pick them up and walk away, they did not get on a train!

We have no intention of going on a train any time soon although friends who have have said they felt very safe as there were so few people, on the outer London overground routes. I do not know of anyone who has been on a tube yet. Still very few people are wearing masks in the streets or in shops despite Boris making the announcement that people should!

- quick cycle round local park and went into Bushy Park where both car parks are now open. However no through traffic just into the car parks from each end. Traffic management operatives policing.
- advertised children’s slide on Facebook marketplace and it was picked up
- went to paper shop, paid bill and stocked up on birthday cards and sympathy cards
