RAF Donna Nook

What a fabulous walk we had , this was yesterday afternoon . We walked 6 miles on the coastal path which lead us too the beach and 6 miles back . Donna Nook is still an active base that they use for testing and target practice . The towers are manned along the beach and you have to stick to the path /beach that are marked out and not go beyond the markers when the planes are active . A very interesting day and very informative walk , the only people we saw were the RAF chaps that shared what happens daily each day . Worth a visit , you can go by car and has a carpark.
