Open Door Wednesday

Well, hi! Do come in, it's Wednesday open Door day and you are most welcome.

I'm having a little coffee morning while His Lordship is away bagging Corbetts in the snow; a case of when the cat's away, the mice will play!

I'm afraid Barrioboy has done his own bagging and has the one and only chair (visitors are not encouraged by His Lordship to sit in his study), but fear not, there are dining room chairs which we can bring in so that you can all rest in comfort, and we will keep our little invasion a secret.

I can offer you coffee, tea, (either Breakfast or Roibos ) but no wine before noon. Would you like a biscuit? We have plenty since they are considered the devil's baking for us at the moment.

It's grand to see you all looking so motivated with your big cameras strung round your necks. I suggest that as soon as we 've had our little blether, we can make our way along to the canal for a blip shoot. There will be something for everyone.

Well thank you all for coming. It's been lovely having you here, and so, if you would be kind enough now to put your chairs away and wrap up warm, we'll be off as soon as I've washed the cups.
The sun is shining, it's going to be a good day........ but not perhaps for his Lordship when he discovers the biscuit crumbs under his desk.
