Life from city to village

Meeting

Me in a meeting as the person who shares my office had pitched up - we have been alternating days to avoid the need for masks. Managed to tick off another two tasks, particularly an outstanding item which was late - and one of the team had volunteered to help with.

I have been carefully watching the international progress of Coronavirus. My parents cheerfully told me that Uganda hadn't had a single case. Unfortunately I was able to prove that wasn't the case. Sad to see Germany go above 200,000 cases and Argentina hit 100,000. And the Dominican Republic now has more cases per head of population than the UK. The pandemic is showing no sign of abating on that tiny island with over 1000 new cases a day.
