On A Winter's Day . . .

We spent the night in Roxburgh and even managed to find somewhere to eat.  This morning we headed north to places cold.  They were not as cold as I had hoped and no frost pictures were obtained.  That stays on my bucket list.  This blip is of an abandoned pipe left behind at St Bathans.  The town was established in 1863 to service gold mining in the area.  The extras show the lake that was formed by hydraulic mining operations.  There are some pipes coming out of the bank.  An old bike for KD and Pipersmon.  Finally Danseys Pass.  A  narrow road that winds through the tussock.  A very good day of driving and experiencing an area I last visited over twenty years ago.  Blipper  Rainie was here today but we didn't cross paths.  I was keeping a eye out.
