Terillium

Rosa Guinee

A beautiful velvety red which moved house with me and has suffered in a pot whilst we waited for garden walls to be rebuilt. Having cleared masses of weeds and ancient lime rubble I planted this rose, amongst others, in the spring. It’s looking really happy and enjoying its south facing aspect.
Finished, at last, weeding by the burn, planted an iris, a hesperantha (which used to be called ‘schizostylis’, moved a heuchera and staked a lilium regale.
