Railway
An 'almost' mono photo for this Monday, certainly if green is your colour.
Off out this morning for a relaxing walk along the Banknock Railway Path, part of the route of the former Kilsyth and Bonnybridge Railway. The railway opened in 1888 and was closed to passenger traffic in 1935 and to freight in 1964. It lives on, after a fashion, in that there is still a Station Road in Longcroft and the Railway Inn in Dennyloanhead which, before lockdown, did some fine bar meals.
