A bit of loose change.
This little group of coins is incredibly special to me.
My Grandfather spend some of his youth in Canada but passed through America. I remember these in a little treasure box after Grandad died which Dad kept safe until he passed away. I raided the box in 2000 and they have been my lucky charm on my car keys ever since.
I can’t read some of them because they have worn to little silver discs. A couple are British coins. A half farthing and silver 3 and 6d. Some are American, a silver 3 cent with a six pointed star and a one cent.
It really proves that items that are cherished are worth so much more than any possible monetary value.
