Home again

A surprise phone call just after 8am saying that H was being discharged from the hospital and asking me to take some clothes in for her.

She was absolutely thrilled to be home! Quite weak and unsteady on her legs but settled down with her book and said she would have a bit of a doze. 

Called in later and she was snuggled up in bed with her cat for company. Seems amazing that she's been allowed home while still so weak but I'm sure that being back with her animals, in her own surroundings will be the best tonic!
