Chill Sunday

Leisurely breakfast after walking the dogs.

My sister came over for lunch today - it was lovely to see her and spend time with her. We ate lunch out in the garden under the shade as it was a tad sunny, and had a lovely chat. She is slowly building up confidence, as she has been shielding going out hasn’t been a regular feature in her day. Fortunately she has a mobility scooter so can go wide of other people :)

This afternoon I made a lemon drizzle cake (to use the lemons up). Hubby has a new nick-name for me - Cakey-Carol - since lockdown I have made a cake most weekends, which is not helping our healthy eating regime. Hopefully this is the last week ....... :)

Caught up on some knitting tonight :)
