First light

I woke up at five this morning to this light coming through the window. The view across the fields is no longer as picturesque as it has been with road and house building but it was still a lovely light. I can't say that I saw the rest of the morning for quite a while after that. 

Bailey and I walked in the sunshine once we were up and then I settled to do a couple of work jobs and he settled in the garden. I joined him after lunch and read until it got a bit warm. A few house jobs done before tea, a walk for Bailey and garden watering finished off the weekend. Just 7 school days left of this academic year which feels bizarre.
