Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

What do you mean this is not my new bed?

Thank you all for your kind words yesterday, I think the couple made the best of things given the circumstances. There was a degree of sadness naturally, but at least the first date is now passed and they can look forward to next year. They're a lucky pair to have such good friends to help them through.
Colin has gone to pick up his mum, she'll be here later this week. In the meantime we've cleared a room downstairs and brought down a bed for her.
Cleo immediately took up residence and is very reluctant to move out. Hopefully once the bed is actually made up she may recognise that somebody else has a stronger claim on it! See extra.
Sunday today so my usual double dose of church, the Provincial service this week came from Aberdeen and the 'Shire. Good service.
Colin has gone up north, I pottered around fixing on the new headboard to the bed and dead heading on the garden. I picked another bunch of sweet peas, they just fill the room with scent, wonderful.
Ali came round early evening, she's lending me her car while Colin is away as Katy has mine at the moment too help with the logistics for the wee ones. Ali is OK, she thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, but it did hit them harder than they expected I think.

Hope everybody is keeping safe and well, it's hard not to relax and let your guard down isn't it.

Steps not many today, 7000
