Peekaboo

A productive morning in the garden, nearly a 2kg of red currants collected, half as many gooseberries, but the bushes are new, they seem to be thriving.
Put new wire on the pergola to support the tree and climbing plants canopy, then another big hot fire to incinerate a lot of pruning. I found this chap under one of the bushes I was cutting down and relocated him to the veg plots to fend off the slugs.
After a lazy lunch and a play with Missy we began the mammoth task of emptying the kitchen, as ever with that sort of job a lot of stuff thrown away. Can't really understand (a) how we'd come to own 21 vases and (b) why we had approaching 100 tupperware (type) containers. We don't anymore. Lots of stuff also going to the Women's Refuge as it won't work in the new kitchen (pans etc), microwave. Hopefully it'll give someone a fresh start.
Finally sat down with supper and a beer.... And discovered I'd got apologetic email from the kitchen fitters saying they'll be here early doors Tuesday.
You have to laugh.
