With mountains like these

The grubby path to the dog beach

You have to hop through the trash a bit, but it’s worth it.

The dogs had a treat first. The sea was pristine and the beach very quiet. Scooby the sea dog literally in his element and Mickey even paddled voluntarily, a first.

Back to Sóller and the pirates met once again. Lou and I swam out to the red buoy, her personal best in the last three years and then bought us all an ice cream.

This household is exhausted, Friday night’s events catching up on us. I took mum to see the damage briefly. This will be a crucial week. Certainly not in the way I was anticipating. I am optimistic, worried, every emotion you can imagine, but most of all grateful and determined for the future.

The offers of help have been overwhelming. Thank you so much to all of you. I will keep you updated as to what is ahead.

To my customers, I offer you my deepest apologies for any inconvenience you may be caused by the laundry’s sudden closure. I will do my very best to make sure I deal with each and every one of you as soon as I can. You have no idea how much you all mean to me and how your support and kind words really do make me absolutely determined to carry on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
