Grasshopper

I've kept looking for Grasshoppers the last few times I've been out but this is the first I've spotted this year;  I've been able to hear them but I suppose I just haven't waited around long enough.  I always feel they're intelligent creatures because when I upload my photos I often realise they've been very aware of me and their eyes have followed what I've been doing.  This one looks a bit greener than he probably is but all the same I still like him/her.  We've seen Jo and Ric this lunchtime which has been lovely, it felt very normal and it's been nice to just be together and enjoy the day.
