Slush Day

I got an email last night telling me that our day would be canceled today due to the heavy snow forecast. However, although it did indeed snow, it was nothing much and has actually turned to a rain. So, rather than the lovely white snow I was hoping to photograph today, instead, I got slush :)
I still enjoyed having the day off, although it means I will be busier tomorrow and Friday trying to catch up on the work I wanted to do today. Oh well :)

Here is a security guard using a type of broom found all over Japan, even in large cities. It is made with twigs and people use these for leaves, snow, etc. I love how the modern mixes in with the traditional here in my country :)
