Whew!
We decided to risk heading to Campsie Glen for our walk today, so set off early to ensure we got a parking space. The walk around the waterfalls was really quiet and peaceful. The climb to through the glen to the top car park was hard work, but worth it for the views from the top and enhanced by a couple of buzzards circling around lazily.
Busier on the way back down and the cafe at the bottom was doing a brisk trade by the time we got there, but we managed to nab the last table.
This afternoon has been spent clearing moss and weeds from the paving slabs so I feel I deserve a seat and a glass of red wine now.
I didn't carry the camera this morning as I needed both hands for balance and negotiation of obstacles, so the only photos taken were back in the garden.
