Damselflies

A good day weather wise with coffee and cake outside with our two (4) neighbours, later joined by A who was calling in before heading off, always good to see everyone. A good chat although think I’ve lost the knack for hosting. Warm sunshine helped to make us feel at one with the world. I hope.

Also joining the party were a number of these paired up
damselflies, I enhanced the extra to show more detail on the wing, I rather liked the leaf version. A busy afternoon so far trying to catch up with some success. We are off to Oban tomorrow in the car to have tyres fitted and see how Tescos is looking, it must be over six months since the last visit. It’s like planning an expedition with masks, gloves, wipes, sanitiser, food and drink. We just need to get a feel for it all, no doubt it will be fine. The ferry is the difficult point, trying not to touch the handrail when climbing those steep steps. Imagine planning a holiday with young children or elderly parents.....
