Last Flight

It's been a long time - a lot has happened and I've not documented any of it. Poor show. Must try harder.

Little did I know, but this was my last flight in an S92 flying out of Scatsta in Shetland. I was flying with Mark W in the LHS to the Northern Producer and the Magnus. The weather wasn't that good and we'd planned to route via the Heather for fuel. I didn't want to fly.

It was a pretty short flight - we managed to get to 25 miles and the weather closed in at the Heather, so we about turned and RTB'ed.

And that was that.

The next day we were stood down.

In some ways I am glad I didn't know it was my last flight. I am not sure that I would have held it together.
