Day 111 Blending in
I was beginning to think that today would feature another shot of a sleeping Peggy Sue, when this pigeon conveniently arrived on the water feature for a drink and a bathe. His (or her) beak seemed particularly vivid and picked up the colours beautifully of the nearby orange crocosmia and the distance pink of the hydrangea and of course the feathers blend with the stone work. The white bits are water droplets being shaken off: as the shot is through glass and not that near the quality is not great.
In other news:there has been a hint that face coverings might become mandatory in shops in England. They already are in Scotland. This would come as a challenge to the 90% who weren't wearing them when I did my supermarket shop yesterday! I was one of the 10% btw.
