Meadow Brown
I was hoping to go to the botanic gardens in Edinburgh today but they now have a ticketing system and they are all sold out for the foreseeable future. Settled instead for a trip to the river at Errol. This has the largest single stretch of reed beds in the UK and just a couple of months ago, when we had that really hot dry spell, they caught fire and a few miles of them were burnt away. You wouldn't have known that though today. Completely regenerated. I usually like to end this walk with a trip to AliBobs cafe at Inchmichael, one of my favourites, but not open yet. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon though.
