High key feather

As a part of my course, I needed to play with low and high key shots. I love low key images and the feelings they evoke. High key isn't something I do a whole lot of. I have a little stash of goodies for my blipping, so I grabbed this feather and had a play. I've done something similar to this in the past, but finally feel as if I'm understanding why the light does what it does, rather than just hoping for the best!

It's been a dreary old day. I struggled to sleep again last night and. so am feeling a little jaded again today. Back to school tomorrow, so I'm hoping that I work out this sleeping malarky tonight!
