Waiting for the ferry
I liked the way she was framed by the winch structure.
Extras: the quonset hut is progressing. When I walked by this morning, a worker waved at me and called, "Hello!" I said hello back and commented that the building was coming along. "Finally!" he said. I told him that I'd taken a photo the other day when only two pieces were in place. So then I got the lowdown on what it will be used for. When neighbour Bill was down for coffee on Thursday, we talked about the structure. I couldn't remember when I added a couple of extras of it the other day, but both G and Bill remembered that a plan for making mead on the site had been talked about last year. The very friendly worker told me that 37 pieces will be put in place to construct the building. It will be divided in half inside, one half for production and the other half for storing the equipment. I asked him if it was for the mead idea and he confirmed that. Then I asked him if the grapes being grown on the property would be used for the mead. Yes. I asked him if I could take another photo and would avoid having him in it, but he told me to go for it, keep him in it if I wanted, and to come by and take photos anytime. So there he is in the first extra. On my way back from my walk, I saw him and another guy at work, so I took a couple more.
It pays to be nosey sometimes!
