Are You Done with That Bait Yet?

When we finish crabbing we throw pieces of the bait to the Gulls......these guy were thinking we should be done soon and they were hovering over the back of the boat......yes, they did eventually get some of that bait.  They were happy birds and all their friends came to join in the feast.

It was a cooler day today.....perfect for finishing that garage cleaning task.....hubby said today, "I guess it is a good idea to have a place for everything before we start to clean so we know where to put it. It is rather embarrassing to find  about 40 assorted brushes for cleaning the sides and bottom of the boat, as well as, about 25 fillet knives. Oh well, now we can give away a lot more stuff.  :-))  Now we have dozens of empty plastic tubs with lids....big ones and small ones. Also, going to the thrift shop. We made good progress....now he is out there sorting all the duffle bags, fishing & tackle boxes AND there is a spot where he is going to put the ones he wants to keep; there were so many because we used to sell a line of duffle bags and he hung on to a lot of our samples, most of them are still brand new. More stuff to give away! 

Hubby still has all his fishing tackle, rods & reels to sort out and I hope he does that before he goes fishing. The salmon are not biting yet, so he may have enough time.  

We have been alone at the beach for the week and it is nice. I enjoy the time alone......but hope to have Ellie and her family over here again soon. I decided to stay another day, I probably will head home tomorrow.
