Day off

I took the day off, today. I had a Trustees meeting first thing but after that the day was my own. I had a few chores to do but I also made time to cook some sweet potato soup, which was fantastic. 

I posted this photo on Instagram, too, and received a couple of comments about how full the bowl was. I hadn't noticed; I think it started getting overfilled when I was enthusiastically spooning in the crème fraîche. 

While I was on the Zoom meeting in the morning, Dan had a video call with the GP who prescribed some antibiotics so I picked those up in the afternoon. As much as anything he looks so uncomfortable with the balloon of fluid swilling around his ankle.
