The Long Game

A full day for me (Chris) working on my course assignment (I've only really  stopped properly now it's dinner!). My parents popped around this afternoon with fresh fruit and veg from their allotment, lovely. We had a cup of tea in the garden and were buzzed by a huge number of butterflies which are being attracted to the buddleia. It is by far the best butterfly attracting plant we've ever had. 

We seem to have collected two new pets. We have a wisteria growing up the front of our house including all over a window onto the stairs. We noticed a pigeon sitting in the wisteria and against the window about a week ago looking quite comfortable. That became two pigeons the following day and soon a nest appeared. They seem to have got used to us constantly passing by on the stairs and at least one pigeon has been sat on the nest for the last 24 hours so I suspect we may be joined by some junior pigeons in the future. Thankfully they are well out of the reach of Leonard.
