Inside Out

Enjoyed the best of the weather on a cycle over the Vale of Pickering. Lovely blue skies and a light breeze. Good to see a number of others on their bikes but much busier on the roads. I had to pull off the road a few times to let vehicles past on some of the narrower roads.

This afternoon we took Jet to Dalby which was the busiest we have seen it in a while. Go Ape was doing a roaring trade with the high rope ways and zip wires. The Segway two wheeled vehicles were being trialled before going out into the woods. Fortunately I had an old Mountain bike Orienteering map and so we went of the beaten track. No walkers but lots of cyclists crossing our path. Some felling along the walk back revealed today’s blip. I rather liked the patterns on the inside of the bark.
