Silly Sign

A lovely day with a nice breeze...just right for an afternoon walk of about five miles. Now that the broken bone has healed we’re getting back to the longer walks we were doing earlier in lockdown. I’ve wanted to blip this sign for a while now but not managed it...today it gets its five minutes!

Saddened to hear of Jack Charlton’s death today...him and Bobby were legends in our household growing up in north Northumberland. My Mum’s Uncle was married to their Aunty and they lived in the same street in Ashington as the Charltons...so when Granny went visiting her big brother the kids all played out on the street together!
