Sir Peter Scott at WWT Barnes
Quick trip to WWT Barnes to check it out. Our last visit was 18th March...see blip for that day. Looking rather different now and the birds seem to have got used to no visitors as they were sitting on the paths! Also the otters were easy to spot today. ( See extra) It shows how much the volunteers do in terms of maintenance as many areas very overgrown. A very civilised one way set up and restrictions on the number of people who can go in each hide. Strangely you do not have to book a time slot just for the day...so maybe later in the day it would get busier. The playground is not yet open so won’t be taking grand children just yet.
- actually used LUMIX camera and worked out how to transfer photos from it to iPhone via WiFi.
- spent some time at the allotment , weeding and tying up raspberries.
- loaned kayak to friend who has family staying, may let her keep it in her garden
