There and back again- A Breeden's Tale

We were awake early this morning because the light comes in through the gaps in the curtains. We made breakfast and tea and then we headed off.
We drove through Matamata to Hobbiton- the village from The Lord of the Rings. It was really cool, we saw all the places that things were filmed and heard some cool stories about the filming. This photo is of Sam and I enjoying a half pint at the Green Dragon. It was brilliant.
Then we had some lunch at the Shires Rest Cafe- you can have a second breakfast there if you want one. Then we drove through to Rotarua and found our campsite. It was by a really pretty lake. We made dinner and then watched the beginning of the first Lord of the Rings film to see how the places we saw fit in with the film. It was funny to watch it back.
